To mark our 135th anniversary, we have developed and produced this very special malleable cast iron clamp in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Both the upper and lower parts have a special design. They are also characterised by a wooden handle with our anniversary print. Each clamp epitomises the BESSEY quality that has been appreciated for decades. It combines components from Germany and Spain to create a real collector's item!
The Clamp
We are proud to present our anniversary edition – a masterpiece that takes classic malleable cast iron screw clamps to a new level. With the vision of combining functionality and aesthetic elegance, we have created a tool that impresses with its sleek design, fine struts and carefully crafted castings. This clamp is not only a reliable tool, but also a designer and collector's item that combines maximum functionality with impressive aesthetics according to the motto ‘form follows function’.
We have also placed great emphasis on sustainability in the development of the clamp: The materials used are almost 100% recyclable and the tool itself is characterised by its extreme durability thanks to the highest BESSEY processing quality.
Upper Section
The upper section of our anniversary clamp is characterised by cross-bracing, which provides additional stability and emphasises the elegant, slim design. A special highlight is the exclusive 135th anniversary logo, which has been skilfully integrated into the casting.

Bottom Section

The tool-free exchangeable pressure plate brings even more convenience to everyday work. It can be changed quickly and easily if necessary

Protective Caps
The protective caps are made of special plastic. They ensure that the surface of the workpiece remains free of pressure marks and scratches while the clamp performs its work reliably.

Smooth-running spindle
The spindle with special trapezoidal thread is manufactured in-house at BESSEY - from turning and rolling to careful testing. It is then surface-coated. This makes the spindle particularly smooth-running and prevents it from jamming.

High-quality hollow profile rail
The BESSEY hollow profile rail from our own drawing shop is specially optimised for clamps. The 6-fold ribbing also prevents the clamp from slipping and thus ensures maximum safety. The grub screw integrated in the sliding bracket engages in the rail corrugation. This effectively prevents the clamp from loosening or slipping.

Rivet
The rivet ensures a secure and durable connection between the wooden handle and spindle, guaranteeing reliable and long-lasting use.

Wooden handle
The all-round printed wooden handle in 135-year design is made of FSC-certified wood and has a thumb recess for comfortable working. Its water-based finish is child-safe and environmentally friendly in accordance with DIN EN 73.

The Creation
The Idea
BESSEY wanted to use the company's 135th anniversary as an opportunity to offer its fans around the world something very special. After some brainstorming, it was clear: our classic malleable cast iron screw clamp, also known as the F-clamp, was to be given a special interpretation.
The First Sketches
The sketches of the upper parts of our anniversary clamp show our dedication to detail. The slim design and fine struts were perfected in numerous drafts. Each line has been carefully considered to maximise aesthetics and functionality. These sketches were the first step towards a tool that combines tradition and modernity.
The Development
The realisation and construction were carried out with the utmost precision. From the first draft to the final production, our experienced developers carefully monitored every step.
The Prototype
The first prototype was created using the latest 3D printing technology. This step made it possible to test the slim design and fine struts quickly and precisely. 3D printing allowed the fit and functionality of the individual components to be checked precisely and changes to be implemented quickly. This innovative approach accelerated development and helped to find the perfect balance between aesthetics and function.
The Production
All components are finally assembled in our production facility using state-of-the-art techniques. The special thing about BESSEY: every malleable cast iron screw clamp that leaves our assembly machines is checked before packaging. If necessary, it is straightened manually. BESSEY therefore stands for the highest tool quality and durability.
